welcome to my website!

holy shit website time... i forgot i made one of these like 3 years ago but now that i'm actually taking an html/css class hopefully i'll actually work on this from time to time! expect this to be pretty bare-bones for the time being; it is very rare that i actually have the motivation to do extracurricular coding lmao

i'm going to use this page as a very rough blog for the time being as i go over my experiences creating specifically this website. i'm working on the header/nav bar currently, and i'm debating whether or not i should use javascript while creating this page. on one hand, i think it could be good practice for my class, but on the other hand, i don't know how applicable it will be. most of my previous knowledge with javascript is letting users have input on what displays on the page, such as making dynamic lists or basic games like blackjack (i should link that here..), and that doesn't really line up with the sorta personal creative space vibe i'm trying to achieve. i starting thinking about this because i didn't want to copy-paste my html for the nav bar over and over again on each page, but i don't plan on having enough pages on the nav bar for that to be a big issue (hopefully lol). i dunno it doesn't really seem worth it to use javascript when the alternative is just to copy a couple of lines less than 5 times. i guess we'll see if i change my mind on that lmao

personal note: i think on my blogs page i'm going to sort them into categories based on the topic. like i'll have a homepage that links to things like programming talk, personal updates/journaling, special interest rants, etc.
